There is no sound until the music starts, and the camera shots change with the slow editing pace, matching the music.  This is her motif, her fashion and clothing. The illustration of the camera shots changing as the music plays, the lyrics are not exactly depicting the video, they rather go against it, this is known as Disjuncture.
